180 contact hours, one full (non-residential) weekend per month, 20 hours self study, over 12 months.
Covering History, Philosophy, Applied Anatomy in Asana, Yoga Ethics...
The students will be 'mentored' in small groups by the Yoga Bank teaching team, similarly to an apprenticeship, observing and assisting, this will give Invaluable insight into the different styles of yoga and teaching practices.
Covering classes taught at the studio: Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin, Restorative, Meditation, Pranayama, Relaxation, Beginners Courses, and Workshops.
Teaching practice will consist of small classes to our most experienced students for feedback, as well as our very experienced Teaching Mentors..
A big part of this course is how to bring the philosophy and history of yoga into general classes, to ensure that yoga is not mainly asana based.
